It starts with an online visit. Our doctors assess your symptoms and make a diagnosis, writing you a prescription if that’s the best course of action. Your medication is then delivered to you quickly and in discreet packaging. You can continue with a monthly subscription (the simplest way to stay up to date) and, if need be, ask your REX MD doctor about new or ongoing issues after your initial diagnosis.

No, you don’t need a prescription to begin with REX MD. Our doctors will WRITE YOU a prescription if it’s the right solution for your symptoms and diagnosis after your online visit. You will need a prescription to order FDA-approved medications from REX MD.

We take privacy and security seriously at REX MD. REX MD complies with all relevant privacy and HIPAA regulations in the U.S. Our system meets strict security and encryption protocols to keep your information safe. REX MD is LegitScript Certified, a third-party regulatory and safety reviewer.

REX MD’s doctors are U.S. licensed and U.S.-based physicians. All of our doctors are board-certified, and per U.S. law, they work in the state for which they prescribe.

Telehealth is the provision of medical evaluation or treatment from a distance. Today, telehealth is done over the phone, by chat, written assessment, or even by video conference. In many situations, doctors can provide the same care that they would seeing you in an office, but with less hassle for you, the patient, and often less expense as well.

Telehealth is perfectly safe for the diagnoses and situations for which it is best suited. For many common illnesses or symptoms – telehealth can be an ideal medium for doctors to assist patients efficiently and effectively.

In other situations, like health emergencies, an in-person visit (or even a visit to the emergency room) is obviously the better choice. If you’re at all worried about a major complication, see your doctor in-person. But for suspected E.D., hair loss, and many more common men’s health concerns, telehealth can be an ideal solution.

At REX MD, your diagnosis and prescription begins with an online-only medical assessment. This is a written form, and for most of our patients, you will not need to speak with a doctor. If your doctor has follow-up questions, these can often be answered by text chat or email.

Depending on your state of shipping address you may be required to have a video consultation, but most states do not.

You’ll find out about the results of your diagnosis, and confirm your order, within 24 hours of completing the visit.

If you need to talk to one of our doctors directly, yes, arrangements can be made. Most REX MD patients are interested in simplicity and efficiency and find that the online visit is comprehensive enough to answer most of their questions.

REX MD is dedicated to combating fraud. Your photo ID combined with an additional photo help us verify that you’re really you! It’s for your safety, and ours.

Yes, our physicians are all U.S. licensed. This is required by law.

REX MD has flexible pricing options depending on your needs and goals. With your first monthly order, we include a free online visit in order for one of our doctors to assess and diagnose your situation and then make a prescription/treatment plan. After that, you pay a monthly recurring fee for monthly refills of your medication. That price can vary, but many of our E.D. meds can be purchased for as little as $10/dose/month. For most E.D. meds, one dose is good for a singlesexual event. We do offer discounts when you sign up for 3 months or more of REX MD membership and refills.

After you submit your information, our doctors will reach out to you privately for any follow-up questions they might have. If you complete a visit and the doctors determine you are unsuitable for treatment with E.D. medications, we will refund you 100% of what you paid and offer you a suggestion for next steps. For recurring prescriptions, you will be charged on the same day each month thereafter, or with each billing period.

Most insurance policies do not cover medications and visits through REX MD. But, our prices are typically less than the average pharmacy, and our online visits less than your copay.

All of our medications are sent with standard USPS shipping for FREE. Product usually arrives in 2-4 days.

The good news for men suffering from E.D. is that you have a variety of options, and REX MD carries the vast majority of them. Your online visit can help our doctors decide which medication is best for you, and you can pick a price plan that works for you as well. Sildenafil (generic Viagra) for instance, requires taking the medication 30-60 minutes in advance of sex. Tadalafil daily (generic Cialis daily) can be taken once a day.

Knowing your blood pressure is an important part of knowing whether you can take an E.D. medication. It can be dangerous to take most E.D. meds if your blood pressure is too high.

Your initial online visit will require that you enter your most recent blood pressure reading, from within the last 6 months. If you need to have your blood pressure measured, many pharmacies today offer free and easy clinically-verified blood pressure monitors.

Many pharmacies in the U.S. will offer free blood pressure readings, many of which are automated. Higi can show you where a blood pressure monitor is near you, or you can call your nearest pharmacy to find out if they offer a system as well.

E.D. medications vary in strength and action time, but most of the single-use products (like Viagra and Cialis) work within 30 minutes and for up to a few hours.

A generic medication is one that is no longer protected by its original patents or government-mandated periods of exclusivity on the market. Viagra is chemically and generically known as sildenafil. 20 years after its first FDA approval at Pfizer, it is available generically. Generics are usually cheaper and more plentiful than their branded counterparts.

Off-label drugs are medications that may be FDA approved for one indication (disease or sickness) but are used for other things too. In the world of E.D., the most common example is sildenafil. Sildenafil is approved in 25, 50, and 100mg doses and tablets for E.D., but it’s also approved in a 20mg tablet for pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Doctors sometimes prescribe drugs for “off-label” uses because they may be cheaper or more convenient in different doses. With sildenafil, taking five 20mg tablets is equivalent to a 100mg tablet of Viagra’s dosage, but at a fraction of the cost.

Viagra (sildenafil) in 25, 50 or 100mg doses and tablets was originally approved for Erectile Dysfunction.

Revatio (sildenafil) was approved in a 20mg tablet for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Today, both are available generically, and 20mg sildenafil tabs are often cheaper than Viagra. Taking five 20mg tablets can be cheaper than a 100mg Viagra tablet/dose, for example, but with the same effect. 20mg sildenafil is sometimes prescribed “off label” if a doctor deems it medically appropriate

Finasteride 1mg is an FDA-approved medications for male pattern baldness. It is the only oral pill available, and it has been used by millions of men globally to combat hair loss. Treatment with finasteride has been shown to slow further hair loss and can provide a substantial improvement in hair loss after only six months of treatment. It does require continued taking of the medication.

Finasteride 1mg has been used by millions of men around the world. But finasteride is not safe for everyone.

Finasteride can lower serum prostate-specific antigen and may increase the risk of high-grade prostate cancers. In clinical trials, a small amount of men experienced sexual dysfunction due to finasteride. Finasteride is not approved for use in women, and pregnant women should not even handle finasteride.
